It had seemed things were looking up for Leslie and the hoopla.com domain heist debacle when, in recent days, whois lookups showed the registrant for the domain to be simply ‘NULL’. This led one to think that the morons who doubled their revenue on a single domain name were preparing to return it to its rightful owner.
But now – Jesus, Mary and Joseph – what the hell does this mean? It was sold again? To someone called Yi-Chi Wang in Taiwan?

UPDATE: Michael Wasylik details what happened. In brief: the registrar farted when they saw they’d done wrong, released the domain, and it was snapped up through a backordering agency. Jesus wept.
