zinging in mid-air
camouflaged by the landscape
Oliver, with wings.

I know a dog named Oliver who can make a zing sound,
he makes it before he ever hits the ground-
Zing, Zing,Zing,Zing
the noise he makes with everything.
Oliver Zing,
Now I’ve heard of everything!
– Robin at 12:51 am, 03 Feb 05
I wondered once,
What’s with this thing?
These dogs these leaps
And all this bounding?
And then one day there came a sound,
This sound it came not ting nor ping!
It hit my ears with a mild sting
For when he jumps there’s no denying
When Ollie jumps, he jumps with zing.

Because he totally pissed on one of those electric cables behind him.

Even leaping dogs sound better in French. My American dogs go whumph! I can just picture them meeting up with Oliver. At the first ‘whumph!’ he would turn up his snout and say coldly, “Non, non! Ici on fait le ZING!”

Le chien aerial!

I once lived in Perpignan. Not far from Bagnols. I know that light.

does he ever just walk across?
– michelle at 7:02 pm, 03 Feb 05
zinging quill from earth’s
green arrow through chill moist light;
canis avis grins.
– andrew at 7:11 pm, 03 Feb 05
Flap those ears, flap flap flap…

Dear Oliver,
Your website is inside-out. Please persuade your pseudo pack leader to relegate that sporadically updated Textist nonsense to the nether depths [1] and elevate the Daily Oliver to the front page.
