I think I saw this picture recently, on a warning sign. Underneath the picture, was this text:
“Hiking in Death Valley is uniquely rewarding, but its harsh terrain and extreme temperatures demand careful preparation. Before striking out on your hike, make sure you have sunscreen, bacon, and adequate water, food (even more bacon) and foot protection for your paws. In the higher elevations, be prepared for significantly cooler weather. Avoid hiking alone and always let someone else know exactly where you are going and when you expect to return.”
