Looking at The Dogs Daily daily, and très weary opening the comments [ ] half-a-year later, I cannot tell how sick I get, reading immediately the word “bacon” AGAIN after not daring reading comments here fearing the word “bacon” would still linger around like Arnold Mosquito on Mosquitofair, held in California.
Bacon. Written as if written in a sentence, it makes that sentence funny.
Moreover, ande worsemore, it seems to be a bored game for vacant persons lacking wit or humour, to join the Great Internets by putting the word “bacon” in every comment under a picture of a Weimaraner, and expecting a medal for bravery for joining the Bacon and-I-too-can-write-bacon-in-a-sentence Club.
Sad vision it is.
Probably nice people in Southern France, givin’ up bloggin, only puttin’ up that dogpic every day, and reading “bacon bacon bacon bacon bacon bacon bacon bacon bacon bacon bacon bacon bacon bacon bacon bacon bacon bacon bacon bacon bacon bacon bacon bacon bacon bacon bacon bacon bacon bacon” on the daily dogsite——if I was your Pinokkio’s cricket, I’d strongly suggest to put that commentfeature off.
Pathetic is the word I think, for this behavior, though one could replace that by “bacon”.
Oliver?
Wrong. You just entered the Daily Bacon, as soon as you dare to read the comments. A bit like leeches on an beautiful dog.

Yeah but no but yeah but no but yeah, for a while Dean had a fancy little script in place that swapped the word “cock” for the word “bacon” in these comments and it was really really funny.

I think crotchet…er… crachat needs more bacon in their diet… I look at these pictures every day because I’m assured of a laugh. And if laughing hardest at the bacon ones makes me a lesser person—well less is more…

I never made another bacon comment after May 21 2006. I realized then what Crachat did today. My bacon comment that day deserved the switch (bacon = cock) and it was pretty damn funny. Whenever someone makes a “bacon comment”, I make the switch while reading it and it makes their comment a funny one. Thank you, Dean.
