I don’t have a caption but I just wanted to say thanks for the tagging! It makes looking back even more fun.

James – really sorry to hear that. Boris looks like he was a grand old pal, and I hope you’re optimistic about having another some day.

RPF – thanks, I had a fun couple of hours yesterday clicking back, naming arbitrary recurring themes and wondering why, for the first couple of years, I was evidently incapable of focusing a camera.
I’m going to comb through them again at some point, so anyone with tags to suggest: please do so.

Thanks, dca, the tags are fun to read! :-)

Dean: The tags are great, thanks! There are so many lovely pictures I’d missed and can now see & enjoy.
James: My sincere condolences. My Weim had her 9th Birthday last weekend. That makes her 63 if you believe the x7 theory. She certainly doesn’t behave like a pensioner – she’s still a kid! – but it scares the hell out of me that she probably won’t be around in a few short years time.
I hold it true, whate’er befall;
I feel it, when I sorrow most;
‘Tis better to have loved and lost
Than never to have loved at all.

Dean – Love the new format!
James: condolences from one Weim lover to another. I dread the day I lose my Zoey. Your tribute to Boris shows your love for him. He surely was a lucky Weim to have such a fine human. With sympathy, and hope for a new friend to find you when you are ready.

James- such a sad time for you and I truly feel your grief at losing your dear Boris. I believe that a good dog never dies but walks besides you forever.
